Pointing the finger

In a land consumed by panic writes the Times .co.uk about Italy yesterday today criticising the way Italians and Italy are coping with the virus and implying well better stating that its Italy Italians' own fault as they are disorganised and undisciplined citing cases of people who have excaped the shut down cities and boasted of having done so and quoting even the mayor of Prato as having said the Chinese are much more disciplined than the Italians in The Times no less just a list of pride and prejudice  stereotypes of Brexit journalism style . And today it rained heavily and solidly cold and wet waiting for Godot what shall we do if he comes if he doesnt come will we come back tomorrow and wait some more as the Pope coughs and feels unwell .

Silence in Italy

The beauty of Italy is in the order which may appear to be old fashioned outdated uneccessary frustrating when shops shut at 1pm and lipstick and hair combed are de rigeur at any hour a foot is set outside the door not like Dee in London Portobello in beige nighty and wrap going round to the Paki for ciggies in the morning unremarkable not here where everything is remarked upon everything is ordered by moons just now the new moon almost a quarter one more full moon then the second will be Pasqua calculated by the number of full moons lune piene dopo natale.
